I have an ISDN PRI that is providing all the DIDs to my property. I also have five ground start pots lines going to the same switch. Do I need the ground starts? What is the easiest way to see how the ground starts and pri are progammed to be handled by the switch? I have been doing some reading but cannot seem to find these two questions being answered. Pardon my ignorance and thanks for the help.

You may have to print your rlb and look for the routes that ae associated with the cot/wat routes.

If you dial 9 to get out, then those ground stat analog trunks are probably there as a backup to the PRIs. You need to look at call routing, which is done in BARS. Here is an example of BARS:

I think you want some backup to the PRI. But make sure you are using the PRI as a first choice for everything. Also make sure you can make 911 calls over it. I know that seems odd, but some "local" PRIs do not allow 911. I have seen it first hand.
