I have upgrade a MICS from 5.0 to 7.1. In trying to program an access code of 9 for the PRI in Routing Services, the MICS will not allow the single digit 9. It will allow 91 thru 99 as 90 is not available. I cannot find this 90 anywhere. Therefore, to access the PRI you have to use the access code 99. I have looked in System programming under Access Codes but I can not find this 90 code. BTW, 9 worked as a valid Access Code before the upgrade. Any thoughts?

What are the DN legnths and what are the extension ranges you are using. Is this a fully expanded system with XC software???
Could check the B2 channels under maintenance.

This MICS is 6 port expansion cartridge (Maxi). The DN length is 4 and the received digit legnth is 4.

Go to Maintenance and under Port/DN try an extention of 90x

Under access codes make sure 9 is not a pool code, also check external code, this is usually set as 9 as well.

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)
