All of a sudden I've noticed that the preview window doesn't show up anymore. To be more precise, this is the window which shows details of a tape or library. If looking at the 'Devices' & 'Media' tab, it would be the bottom half. After clicking a tape, still won't display more information.

Using 10d, Win2k3, HP Tape Lib MSL6030

Thanks for any suggestions

Could it be as simple as clicking View->Preview Pane?

I wish, but no. It shows that particular pane, but no information is displayed.

Is this a Remote console or the Local console? In either case I would reload.

Could also be a java problem. Try reloading/updating your java engine.

I'm assuming you have already rebooted...

Thank LawnBoy for the suggestions, turns out that for some reason this pane doesn't want to show through remote view (just remote desktop) and just this morning actually logged in through a local port. What do you know? it shows up fine, but I can swear it used to show up remotely...does this happen for everyone else?

Must have been a Monday thing, thanks again guys.

I don't use RDP, I just load the Admin console on my desktop directly.

Glad you figured it out.

I first thought it may have just been a new remote client CoRD for Mac OS X ... but Windows seemed to do it too. I'll be looking for a workaround thanks again.
