Preventing transfer from voicemail box

I'm using Norstar Voice Mail 4.0. I need to setup a new voicemail box but I must prevent callers from getting anywhere else - no operator, no other extension. How could I do this without affecting other voicemail boxes? Thanks.

Do you want to leave a message with this box or just use it for info?
You cannot prevent starring out of a mailbox as it is a system wide setting. You can however make the Target Attendant go to a bogus ext number.

Thanks for the reply. I've already modified the target attendant for that mailbox, but I was hoping to find a way to prevent "starring" out. I need this individual to be "their own island" and I'd like to keep them on the Norstar Voice Mail. Thanks again.

What about changing the Return to auto attendant option in voicemail programming? As curlycord mentioned this is a system wide setting so it would affect all users. It would prevent returning to the main menu by simply saying "Goodbye" and then disconnecting when a caller uses the star key to try to back out of a mailbox. Brian Cox

I'll survey my users to see if they can tolerate changing the "return to attendant" setting. Thanks for the info.
