Preventing Multiple Copies Running 2

Running under W2000 Pro and WXP Pro ...when the app is running and the screen saver kicks in, the app is minimized.... sometimes my secretaries do not see the minimized version and re-open the app again ... and so on....and so on....

Needless to say this consumes a lot of system resources...

Is there any way to prevent this or should I post this in the XP Forum...

I've just started to catch up with this thread and I have to say, it all sounds good.

I also have to say that I implemented the method I put forward on 25th March last year and "cross fingers" I have not had 1 (not one) single problem since, and that's with nearly 200 users, 95, 98 2000 and XP.

Ours, on the 23rd floor overlooking the Gulf of Siam, (75 square meters) is just $AU400 a month. including an apartment. Try that in Sydney.

I am astonished that 1 year on, the solutions for this problem have become simpler and more elegant.

Tilltek... Your recommendations were great... covered a foxpro solution, a dos batch solution and a third party freeware solution... Comprehensive cover... And were obviously practice based.

As far as Procedure Exotic is concerned...

Sounds like a set from "The Ken and I"... The Gulf of Siam heaven on earth etc etc

It is just a bit too far for me to commute to my practice every morning. Also, I have the opportunity of revising some of the surgery done in that neck of the wood. (recommend Do not_fall_over)
