Prevent TN's disabling at Midnight 1

I have a temporary requirement to have 80 handsets forward to other DN's during an office refurb. The original handsets will be removed and will therefore disable during midnight routines and thus the forwarding will not work. How can I prevent these TN's from disabling when not plugged in?

Print this and post here, it sounds like you have LD 30 running in the Background, it should be LD 44.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

We use Digital sets aquired by a power dialler the sets are never plugged in because the power dialler remote controls the 2616 to call numbers in its database then transfers to agents. We stop the 2616 going disabled with MPLR11700.

Just add it then remove when your done.

My experience is that if a call arrives at a set that's
not connected, this will disable the set.
If I CFW the set before it's unplugged it will not get disabled until MIDN-run.

I have alway's used ACD Queues to NCFW to new locations. But there many way'sto do it as stated above. If your going to use these same DID's at the new location I would put there old DID on key 0 and make the Vmail the same, saves having to learn new numbers.

Nice suggestion and the obvious way to to things HOWEVER....the holding floor for the users whilst refurb takes place does not support sufficient hansets and therefore they are sharing 1 handset between 2. This "holding" floor will become occupied once again when another area is refurbed and the whole process starts again hence having to do it this way.

I see this thread has invoked quite a bit of interest.

i use a lot of maxp 1 acd's.. the only plus with analog sets is the user can use rcfw to move his own did during a temp move... as usual there is 20 ways to do the same thing in any merridian...

From your original question if you use MPLR11700 it will stop the sets disabling while the PEP is in service. We use it on a RLS 4.5 CS1000E and have no issues with the sets going disabled in midnights.

You can have more then one DID on a phone so each user has there own Number.

It is the 45 in BKGD that is disabling the phones that are "unplugged for a few hours". Remove 45, it does not need to exist in BKGD. Leave 44 in BKGD

Of course, overnight, 30 and 45 in DROL will disable the sets.

I've run various systems for years without 30 in DROL, but I don't suggest taking it out if you are not intimate with the system.
