Prevent Data Change In Combo Box 1

In Access 2000 I have a combo box based on a table.
How can I prevent users from changing the data shown in the combo box?

As in Locked=True or Enable=False?

I want users to be able to select a record from the combo box, but they must be able to edit the record.

You can change all the controls to Locked=True or it may suit to use a query that cannot be updated. Adding Distinct (Select Distinct) will prevent a query from being updateable.
