Hi,
I have a userform and would like to be able to save the data/value entered so that when the form is re-openned from the same document, the data doesn't have to be re-entered.

Thanks in advance.

What kind of document? Word? Excel?

Forms don't have the inherent ability to remember the last entered value after the form is closed/reopened.

The usual workaround is to write to a hidden sheet when in Excel, or create a "Settings" text file when in Word.

It is also possible to write to the registry, but that's a high-stakes game.

VBAjedi,

Thanks for the respond. It is a Word template. This was leading to my second question which is how can I use the same data on a second/different Word document?

I've never done that before. . .

How about setting up a mailmerge/linked fields to an Excel spreadsheet? With that approach you could make as many documents as you wanted to - all with the same data source.
