Hello Guys,

I'm running IPO Office 500 v2 10.1.0.1.0 build 3 with SIP Line. I am trying preserve the Caller ID when forwarding calls to a cell number.
I found other forms using the NSS shortcode, but no luck. I also verified with with my carrier that the are allowing the caller ID to pass through.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

I only have one SIP URI that was configured by our vendor.
Local URI: Auto
Contact: Auto
Display Name: Auto
identity: None
Header: P Asserted ID
Originator Number: blank
Send Caller ID: None

I believe on this release you will need to use an ARS table with NSSi to send the outgoing number.

Create a new ARS table, such as 51:FWD, add a single entry
Code: N;
Telephone Number: NSSi
Feature: Dial 3K1
Line Group ID: The Outgoing Group in the SIP line URI

Delete the 11 entry, modify the 911 entry's Telephone Number to 911Sxxxxxxxxxx where the x's are the telephone number you are sending out for 911 calls. Be sure to change to Line Group ID to the proper group.

Create a new short code
Code: 8N
Feature: Dial
Telephone Number: N
Line Group ID: 51:FWD

Have your folks Forward or Twin their calls to 8 plus 1, area code, telephone number instead of 91xxxxxxxxxx

Send Caller ID: None

That usually has to be set to Diversion Header in my experience.

I have found that some providers, at least in the US, will not work with Nsi or Ns shortcodes to pass callerIDs. In those cases I end up using 2 SIP URIs one Autos for incoming and one that is either use internal data for outbound if they use a bunch of DIDs or I use the main DID if they always present that one DID.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
