Hey everyone. I need some advice. I have a customer who will probably have 8 channel PRI and about 50 phones. I know I can oversubscribe the VCM but I was wondering at what rate are people using to do that? 4 to 1? 6 to 1?

I assume your client has 50 IP phone. You will need at least 8 VCMs for the conversion from the PRI lines to the phones, unless the client expects to have a maximum of less than 8 incoming and outgoing calls. You will need additional VCMs for call establishment between the phones - I guess 4 should be enough but 8 will be safer. So your minimum is 12 VCMs, 16 is preffered.
