I am currently using a Canopus ADVC-300 to capture my collection of analogue video tapes from a Panasonic AG-MD835 Medical Grade S-VHS VTR into Premiere Pro 1.5.1.
While performing a capture of a whole tape it hits a pause between two scenes (stop/start recording) and premiere decides to stop recording and pops up a screen to enter details to save the file. This is not a file size limit problem as it captures 56 minutes of vide (~13gb) and hits the pause and stops. It doesn't matter where the pause is.
Is there a setting in Premiere to tell it to ignore the pause and keep recording until the end of the tape? I know you can use 'Scene edit' to overcome this but is that's only if you have DV camcorder. I've checked my canopus and nothing there to tell Premiere to stop.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
