After capturing a clip from my DV camera via IEEE1334, when I import it into Premiere 6.0 the duration is reduced. A 7 minute clip will show up in the bin as a 1 minute clip. Help please

How are you capturing? Using Premiere or another program? If the latter, try again using Premiere.

I am capturing using Premier 6.0. I did, however, download and use Scenalyzer 4.0 and it works fine. But I still want to try to get Premier to capture correctly. I just recently started having this problem.

Whenever something odd suddenly starts happening inside Premiere, the most likely culprit is a corrupted Preferences file, which holds all the basic settings used by Premiere including user interface and other aspects like capture settings.

To reset the Preferences to factory defaults, hold down CTRL+SHIFT and start Premiere. You can release the keys when the splash screen appears. Then set up the interface as you wish again and rest scratch disks correctly before resuming normal operations.
