Oh, yeah, hunh! I didn't know how, but didn't really think about IF it could be done. This is the first InDesign project I have ever done that wasn't printed out on my printer or a Fiery (sp?) at Kinko's for a class. Until now, my "professional" experiences are with a printer, Illustrator, and an Iris printer.

...you can export your document to press quality pdf and have the conversion done for you by the 'pdf export' settings...
...under 'output' a color conversion option is available to a destination profile, "convert to destination (preserve)" is the one to use, in the destination option choose a cmyk profile to convert to, either photoshop 5 default is a good one from rgb or a cmyk profile supplied to you by your print provider (if they use them)...
