We have a prospective client that is fairly insistent on using softphones rather than hardware / IP phones.
Users will be ACD, being reported on by CCM.

After discussions with Mitel they have advised we use the Prairiefyre ACD softphone.

I am in the process of installing in my office but am curious as to whether any of the people on here have used this product???

Whats your experience??
thanks

james

Hi James,
We use this in our office and have some sites (150 seats) using ACD soft phone. It has been very reliable so far. As long as you stick to the PC specs and have a reliable network on site I don't see any problems. New revision Prairiefyre CCM 5.6 is coming out shortly with some great new features.
regards,
Brooke

PrairieFyre is a good product, very-very long history w/Mitel, literally back to their beginning, though it wasn't always known by that name. Previously it was called Taske Toolbox, started by the same guy, Malcolm Teasdale. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with it. It's one of the few applications in our enterprise that gives us no headaches.
