Hello,

I have a problem with users using windows native vpnclient. When they are on our lan and tries to connect to another office the fail. Ciscos client works fine. Talked to microsoft and the said that port 1723 has to be open ( outside to inside ) and port 34827 on protocol 47 to all machines. How should i configure the pix to accomplish this. Tried different configs but none works.

Hi,

I had the same problem. I was looking for the ports to be opened. You question provided me that answer. Thanks for that.

Now, here is what i added to pix thru command line.

fixup protocol pptp 1723
fixup protocol pptp 34827

access-list nonat permit ip 10.x.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.x.0.0 255.255.0.0

nat (inside) 0 access-list nonat

sysopt connection permit-pptp

It works for me. Hope you will have success too.
