ppt slideshow, with a twist

Hi all,

I have 2 monitors, on the 2nd monitor (a plasma screen on the wall) I want to have a 2 slide, power point slide show rotating (transitioning) every 45 seconds. I'm able to set it up and make it work, however it won't transition if I start using other programs on my computer since the focus is changed from the active slide show, to whatever I'm doing (i.e. using Outlook, or even just clicking on the desktop).
How can I have the slide show keep going and yet keep using other applications on my computer?
