PPP Question

I am trying to set up a PPP session over a T1 line and I get this kernel panic when I initiate the pppd...Any ideas?

My first guess would be a hardware failure - RAM. Especially with the messages about "bad area" and all of the memory addresses listed in your post. Memory can go bad for a multitude of reasons, including environment, handling, and alpha-decay.
