PPP Dial on Demand

Hi all,

I can't get dial on demand to work. Already added demand on the options file. Even added entries on the /etc/resolv.conf file. But my modem does not dial, can someone give a hint? Dialling out is already working and i can successfully connect, i also included persist option and this works. I don't know wht's wrong with demand option.

Help anyone pls?

Is FreeRadius easy? They don't have too much documentation on their website although they have documentation on their source package, that's why i'm reading GNURadius. The way i see it, it seems GNURadius is more mature than FreeRadius, pls correct me if i'm wrong.

On the VPN software, i've been looking at MS ISA 2004 for the ff reasons:

1. RedHat has ceased to release a free version of their Linux variant so I cannot use RedHat 9 as fw/vpn.
2. We're using MS OS as desktop. To lessen the configuration and installation stuff.
3. Microsoft offers good support service. You'll never get support for Linux here in our country, it costs much. That's why i seek help from u guys.

FreeRadius leverages existing ICRadius code and more. I'm sure that FreeRadius is well documented.

Hey thedaver,

Cannot connect to PPP from a Linux PPP client. Error on the PPP server was:

tcsetattr: Invalid argument (line 1001)
tcflush failed: Bad file descriptor

No need, it's the noauth option that causes the problem. That option always gets me, thanks anyway
