PowerPoint slide shows blacked-out in office XP PowerPoint

I have a PowerPoint Slide that show fine when veiwing using PowerPoint97 Viewer or PowerPoint2000. When Viewing the same file with OfficeXP Version of PowerPoint the slide the image in the slide appears all black.
Is there a setting in the OfficeXP Version of PowerPoint that needs to be changes or something else?
Whats the problem? Whats the fix?
