we have an installation of powerpoint which will not print. when you click the print button, or file-> print, it does nothing. the print dialog box does not pop up. any ideas??

Can you print something else?

is file-> Print is highlighted or is gray?

This may be worth a try:

Go to Start, Run. Click Browse. Navigate to the folder that contains Powerpnt.exe. It may be at:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
Select the Powerpnt.exe file, and click Open.

In the Run dialog box, click your mouse at the end of the command line; type a space, and then type /regserver

The command should look like:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Powerpnt.exe" /regserver

Click OK.

no. they are not grayed out. you can click on them, but nothing occurs. nothing will print in powerpoint from this machine.

ok. new revelation in the situation. it was just one file that won't print. we saved it on a disk and tried to print from another computer and the same problem occurred.
