Hi all:

Does anyone know how to turn a PowerPoint slideshow to an executable?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

This is not really a VBA question. Maybe the Microsoft Office forum would be a better place for this question.

But here goes anyway .............

A Powerpoint slideshow is a standalone application that does not require MS Powerpoint to run. When the slideshow is executed it automatically runs itself. It is effectively an executable file in its own right already.

Whats the reason why you want to make it executable ?

Thanks for the reply.

The reason I was interested in turning the PPS into an .exe was for Autorun purposes. I've tried burning our PPS to a CD and including an Autorun file, but it does not launch the PPS.

If I use the same Autorun and one of my VB/.Net programs, it kicks it off instantly.

Code:
[autorun]
Open=MLB_Presentation.pps

Just an idea.

Thanks again,
