Powerpoint - Dynamic Excel Chart

I have a dynamic chart in excel that has a FORM combo box. The chart is a line trend chart that changes based on the selection in the combo box and it works well. Here's the issue: I want to put the chart on a Powerpoint presentation and give the speaker the ability to click the combo box and have the chart change. It loses interactivity when I copy from excel and paste special as an excel chart. I tried saving as a webpage in excel and bringing that over to Powerpoint but that didn't work either.

Paste Special as a Link (still with Microsoft Excel Chart Object), so that it updates whenever you save the spreadsheet.
