Is there a way to have a slide's animation only animate once, the first time the slide is viewed.

I will be walking through a slide that requires a great deal of animation and revisiting it multiple times after. I would like the animation to appear only the first time I view the slide and no animation every time after. Any help is appreciated.

Can you not use a copy of the slide without animation?

No I cannot. The slide has multiple hyperlinks and I must be able to see which links have been selected (the color changes after the link is clicked).

No way to do what you need, but a slight workaround, which is ugly, but will work.

When you want to go back to the slide in question, go back to the slide after it and then hit the backspace key. This will have the effect of moving to the previous slide, with all the builds already built.
