Hello All

I have a report i need to have a play around with in excel.
The data is currently in a PPR Report. the report has 69 Layers.

My question is,
Is it possible to save report at excel and save each individual layer to its own sheet within the Excel file.
Ie. 69 Sheets

Thanks in advance

Andy

Andy,
AFAIK, only by automating Excel either in VBA script or using cognosscript (which is a little more limiting) to cut and paste sections that correspond to the layers.

Thanks.
I know what am doing this afternoon .... Lots of Cut and pasting :)

Hope you've got a big monitor and larger patience

(just finished a workbook that was 20,000 rows by 200 columns - 128MB and a lot of cr@pping out by Excel, even on a dual Xenon 3GHz server! Bah!)

One other suggestion - in Excel - subtotaling allows page break on subtotal. Create a logical subtotal on the field that determines page breaks, and go from there.

I'm more of an Excel person than Power Play, with limited PP experience, but this worked for a large PP file I exported to Excel.
