I'm trying to use a loop to save a report filtered to a specific child in a dimension, and then save the file as a PDF, before going on to the next child and repeating the process.

It's saving the first PDF file, and then reporting the following error...
R440 Powerplay: The PDF file is read-only or open in another application and cannot be

I've tried the Cognos Web Site and their solution is;
Solution: "This is related to Adobe Acrobat staying open and allowing a maximum limit of 20 PDF files to be open at any one time.

When saving to PDF, the View option is set to ON by default. Switching this option to OFF, that is, Not to View, resolves the issue."

Does anyone have an idea how to do this?

Any help would be really appreciated!!

MConnell,
Sounds odd, as I have a script that does similar without issue. Are you trying to over-write a file?
Could you post your script (or the relevant part of it) and the version number of PowerPlay that you're using?
cheers,
Lex

Many thanks, and after a very large espresso I think I've sorted it.

It's a second loop, and I didn't set the loop count with a different variable.

Thanks for your help.
