Hello
Have powerdown problem, PC runs down and saves settings get 'your PC is save to turn off' press button and PC reboots.
Have looked and tried various threads system restore,BIOS, power management and microsoft help! however no joy. Run XP pro.
Any suggestions will be gratefully recieved.
Thanks in advance.

I had exactly the same problem on my Xp pro machine, you say you have checked the bios... When i had the problem i loaded the "default settings" bios and although i had to go back and configure boot order etc, nothing serious changed AND it solved all the problems. (it also reenabled standbye which was previously greyed out)

Hope this helps
