I am implementing the version control in PowerBuilder. The only way that I know to check out and select an object is in the Library Tree or in the System Tree.
But I would like also to be able to check out the object with the browser, the file/open menu, or in a Datawindow control (right click and "Modify Datawindow"). These methods do not allow to check out the required object.
Do someone know how to manage it?

These would all be enhancements to the PB IDE.

The options you would like to use don't exist in the Powerbuilder IDE. They would have to be added by Sybase as enhancements in some future release.

Yes! We talked to Sybase.
Probably they will include these options in PB12.
I thought that someone has find some workaround.
Thanks again.
