Power5 HMC port problem

I have severeal P5, i can make ping to de HMC1 interface 192.168.2.147 but I can't open the asmi via browser, explorer 7, explorer 8, mozilla.

Fron HMC occurs the same, the ping go ok, but when i add a new system do no connect.

I do the same in power6 and all run ok.

I need help, way run on power6 but not on power5

Hello,

Which version of HMC you are running ? ,Is that you have same HMC for P5 & P6 ? ,If you have different HMC for P5 ,I would check hmc LAN Adapter settings for particular Interface where you have issue.

We sometimes had success with Opera where other browsers failed. Don't ask me why...

Could be that your service processor card needs resetting or replacement. Normally its done by an IBM engineer.

Thanks to all. I found two errors.

With the browser, is a certificate problem, enable ssl2 and disable TLS1, getdown security leve at explorer for power5

The other problem was, that two HMC's had the same IP at service PORT, big problem with duplicate IP's, it's make ping but do not connect
