what is the right process , steps and sequence to power up s8500 server with 3 G650 cabinets after a power loss

when power the G650, i have 3 cabinets, A,B and C any sequence for these also and does not matter
Thanks

The sequence doesn't matter, they are essentially dumb until the S8500 recognizes them.

The G650s do not matter as to the power up/down order.

The idea behing powering them up before the server is that when CM comes online the G650's are available and no alarms are generated.

If you bring the server online first it won't be able to see the IPSI's and alarms will be generated.

This of course isn't a big deal so if you don't care then it doesn't matter what order you use.

The only suggestion I will make is if you hav4e dual power supplies in your G650's always power up the left side (facing the front of the carrier) first. Likewise power it down last.
