I just got hold of a used Watchguard SOHO WG2500, but the power adapter has been lost. There's no indication on the unit what sort of voltage it takes and I haven't got an answer back from Watchguard yet. Anyone know what sort of power adapter I need for this?

Also... I see stuff about subscription prices on the Watchguard site, but I'm not clear what you get for the subscription. Can I just use it as-is or do I need to subscribe for something?

Thanks for any tips.

You can use the unit without a subscription.

The power requiremens are 500mA @12V

Polarity is:
Inside pole is positive outside is negative

You can get them at Radio Shack too

The subscription is to WatchGuards' LiveSecurity. This gives you software updates, technical support, security broadcasts, and self-help resources.
