Hi all,
I want to put some text before and after the user selected text, in powerpoint. The user can select the text across text frames on a slide. I am using Office 2000. Right now what is happening is whenever i am selecting across text frames, each text frame is becoming a separate slide. How can i handle this?

Not sure I entirely understand the question. Can you rephrase.

ok. Let me explain again. Consider I have 3 slides, all with text frames. Now I select the the contents in the textframes of slide 1 and slide 2. I want to put some text at the start of the selection and some text at the end of the selection. How do I do that? My approach, right now, is to take selected text, appened 'Sometext' before and after and replace this with the previous text. But when I replace, each textframe on a slide is becoming a separate slide.

I think it is clearer now.

regards
