I work in video production. My client has a power point presentation. There are several slides within that he wants to use. I've saved as in a variety of formats but they all still look pretty bad on ntsc video. Are there any programs or techniques to enhance or convert the graphics to acceptable video resolution. (the graphics are composed at a 1:85 ratio, we need 3:4 ratio and there are lots of small text lines that fall apart on video.

Thanks in advance.

A similar thought at our company when we wanted to send out corporate presentations to some of our customers in a slightly more professional method than a powerpoint attachment in email.

There are a number of "converter" cards which take your VGA signal and turn it into a VHS (NTSC or PAL) signal. So you can outpout a poerpoint presentation to video. The quality is dependant on the quality of the card, but you should look at spending around GBP500 (roughly $750).

Have a look at the following links for further advice:

Thanks for the reply. Yes we are taking tif or targa files and importing them into a discreet edit system with a matrox le card. This system brings in the slides at 720x486 and we can output to any video source. Ultimately the problem I believe is that there is too much small text on the vga composed file to translate to the ntsc system and vhs. I am trying to get the client to re-compose the slide with less text.

Thanks
