Just had our first power outage with the our Ip office system. UPS's worked for awhile for power, then died :-(. Shoudln't you be bale to plug a POT into POTS number 1 and get incoming calls? I tried that and the phone wouldn't ring? I could dial out but nothing coming in? Does the power have to be off the the IP unit for that to work? Just curious so i know what to do next time.

Thanks,
Mike

This will only work with the second alog trunk of a SOE unit to the first pots port or with the first two trunks of a ATM16 module wich has two power fail connectors at the rear of the unit

That is what I thought, I will power it off and check it out.

Thanks,
Mike
