Help, I've just had a power outage at a remote site and I'm trying to talk someone there through the procedures to bring the switch back up. They tell me that the power is back on and the switch has power, but all the phones are flashing. I've never had to bring up a switch from stracht before, and would like to know the correct procedures. Thanks in advance.

No battery back up or a UPS? I would suggest a sysload, power down the processor and power up again check results. Good Luck.

From what LD do you run a sysload? Or after reapplying power, do you log in and then type sysload?

Sorry, sysload is pwer down the processors then power back up. Several places in manuals it says to re- INI reinitialize, but several cases a "sysload" does better. Do you have back up floppies in your system? Good sysload should get all your programming input from these

Thanks, I'm on my way to the site. I'll let yuou know how it goes.

No LD, just completely power down the system or the Core/Network modules and power back up. See if that does you any good.
