Power-on Restart for the DELL 2650?

Running the DELL 2650 w/Windows 2003 Server

Have APC Smart UPS.

Windows UPS software does operate beautifully for shut-down sequence but there appears to be no feature in the 2650 BIOS to re-start the server when power is returned.

This system is going to be installed at a unmanned location so this inability to auto-restart when power is returned is a show stopper.

I dont know how much help this is, but my PE2600 (tower) restarts automatically after the power is restored, after a UPS shutdown.

Have you looked into a firmware/bios upgrade for your model? That could be one of added features or bug fixes.
