I am using Redhat 7.3, when shutting down, using shutdown -h now, the computer restarts. I believe this is something to do with the Power Management, but dont know how I can fix it!

Can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks in advance

try your APM [Advanced Power Management] configuration on your box, or read your motherboard manual to see any possible configurations you can try...

does your machine support the ACPI function...?..

good luck..

I believe ACPI is enabled, I also have a Windows Partition that powers off correctly so I know the Power Management works, any solutions?
