Have a weird issue that has popped up with previously working phones. Running CM 6.2 (just upgraded this week but problem existed on old 5.2 as well). A 9641G with a BM12 attached. Worked fine until I changed the settings to allow for gigabit speeds on the PC ethernet connection. Since it booting with this settings file, the minute you plug in the BM12, the phone and the module lose power and won't come back until you unplug the BM12 module. PoE switches, no power blocks in place although I did try one just to be sure. The change to the ethernet port is the only change that was made in the settings file. We were having issues with our old settings and PC connections to the phones being really slow and figured I'd take advantage of the fact that we installed gigabit switches last summer. No one else having any issues. Phone works fine without the module. Thought it must be a power issue with having the gigabit speeds enabled along with the BM12 module but now even going back to the original settings it no longer works. Have swapped out the phone, the module, the cables and the network port. had the same thing happen on a new install for a receptionist at another site. Anyone run into this before?

Do you have the IEEE switch on the back of the phone on L(ow) or H(igh)? The switch should be on H when you add one or more button modules.

We had a similar issue and our IS dept had boost the power output on the POE switch for the phones with add-on modules. Worked ever since.
