Hi,

We have some problem with PB source control service. We use PB 8.0 with Object Cycle. Imagine that one developer checks out some object, edits it and then checks it in. After that another developer tryes to get the latest version of this object. And he/she cannot do it ñorrectly! He clicks 'get latest version' on the object, PB shows that it's all right and the object is latest. Then he clicks 'refresh status', and PB shows that the object is not latest. Notice that really he gets the latest version of the object but PB does not 'understand' it and does not refresh object status.
Can anybody help with this problem?

Thanks,
Zina.

Take a look at the Source Control properties for your Workspace. In the System Tree, rightclick the Workspace object and select Properties... from the pop-up menu. Then in the Properties dialog window select the Source Control tab.

See if the Perform Diff on Status Update option is selected. This option should automatically update the status of each item. Note however that this can cause a performance hit when opening PBLs, saving objects, or checking objects in and out.

xsyguy,
thank you for your reply but this option had already been selected when we found out the problem. So we cannot solve this problem as yet.
