Post form to another page?

Hi all,

I have a web control that has some form items to collect data for a search, this control is the type that sits along a side column of the website, im using the control on multiple pages, so im wanting to show one result.aspx page, not have to have render the results in everypage I have the the control on onpostback. I've thought about posting back then response.redirecting to results.aspx with the data in the querystring, but thats not really the asp.net way is it?

Please advise the best way to go about this,
