I've got the installed the version 1.3.26 from apache and php 4 on my new laptop. Now i don't get my guestbook working because so i think the post method doesn't work. The script woked on my old computer but with an older version of apache so mabe i've to change something in the httpd.conf

Since you are running Apache with PHP, my first question is, why aren't you running PHP as a module? It makes PHP work much better and it gives you access to certain things that only the module version can do.
Delete the ScriptAlias and the lines following that for PHP.
Then uncomment the LoadModule and AddModule lines. Remember to read the PHP installation instructions first so you do everything correctly.
Also, how are you accessing the POST and GET variables? What version of PHP are you running?
