Hi there ...

this might be a silly question but I tried for some days now to find a way to see the current online users on my new Apache Server ... it runs under WIN-ME and as far as I can see it runs pretty good.

... but ... the only response Apache gives to me is to say
"Apache/1.3.26 (Win32) running..."

I know, it works but ... I wish I could sometimes have a look if someone and if so who is only ...

Don't kill me for that question, but I'm really interested in any answer.

Thx

Knut

sorry ... forgot something

before I installed Apache I used OmniHTTPD where I could always see some kind of "Log" on screen ... I always knew who is online and what he/she was doing in that moment ...

thx again

Knut

You could look at the server-status handler. It displays what you want. //Daniel

uh ?

I hope I don't look to stupid now ...

but ...

how do I ??

thx in advance

Knut

Search your httpd.conf for it. Uncomment the lines in the section where it is found. //Daniel

uff ... the answer from the server is a 403

"you don't have permission" ...

Knut

Did you change the Allow from line? If not, change whatever is there now and put localhost. //Daniel

sorry ... doesn't work

it looks I'm to stupid for that ...

thx for your help, I give up
