We have a month before our phone server is switched to PRI.

I have the BMC installed, keycodes entered and the devices hooked up (thanx to you guys for that one).

I have 2 phones hooked up and I can make internal calls to them.

I am trying to configure VoiceMail but having issues. I created a mailbox for one of the extensions but it doesn't appear to be working.

When I go to the phone and do F981 it tells me no resource.

Just wondering if I can't do some internal things before phone service is hooked up.

For the vm is it assigned to the phone that you are trying to call it on, if not it should tell you to enter the vm box #. This is assuming that you have the keycodes for vm, it sounds like you do though. As far as the PRI, I could be wrong, but I do not know of a way to test it without the PRI actually being there. Just make sure the you set up all of your target lines, and the recieved digit length coensides(sp) with telco. Setup your line pool, and destination codes for outgoing calls. I am sure that there is more, but that is just a quick rundown.

Good Luck.

I know I can't really do any testing for outside calls but I just wanted to try to get internal things setup.

I do have the keycodes installed.

From CallPilot Manager I created a vm box for one of the phones I have working on the system but when i try to setup the mailbox from that phone, thats where i get the No Resource reponse from the phone.

I have a mailbox setup. The extension in Callpilot Manager is the same as the DN for the phone.

Is there something I am missing?

how many channels have you assigned to voicemail application?
are the PECs installed securely?

I had that problem twice before. The fix in my case was to shutdown the bcm, remove the two pec cards, reseat them back and power on. You should try it.

Just wonder if you got another spare system with a DTI module setting as slave while the other is master clock and using crossover T1 cable, would that work as poor man tie line with BCM ?

Rebooting it and reseating the cards did it!

thank you!

how come i didnt get a star ...
(just kidding ...i'm in the sprit of the long weekend)

senk1s,
