I was wondering if it was possible to pad an identity seed.

I would like to increment from the value "00000001" by ones. EX: 00000001, 00000002, 00000003, etc...

Possible?

Use Autonumber for the field if you don't care about skipping numbers occasionally..
Set the Format to 00000000

Thanks Greg.

I have the following properties set:
Identity - yes
Identity Seed - 1
Identity Increment - 1
Format - 00000000

But when I populate the table the auto field is showing:
" 1"
Instead of:
"00000001"

Is this in Access?

If you don't need autonumber, set field size to double with the mentioned 00000000 formatting.
