Should clarify, and I couldn't find the thread edit button. This would be workstation side, not server side. I'm wanting to login to different servers via 1 computer to eliminate the need for remote login boxes to monitor job status, and so on. Just to make things more efficent.
This would not be possible because the application uses the same files to the same paths, dlls/library files, etc, and as mentioned, the same registry paths/entries.
Now that I think about it, if you are saying what I think you are saying, you want to administer two different backup environments? If that's the case, then yes, you can install two different Windows Java GUI versions on the same box.
Works on UNIX ok, though I had to script it to swap symbolic links from /usr/openv to point to the correct version i wanted (after stopping NBU), then restarting. I have 3 version on my workstation.
jhulbe, for what you want, wouldn't VBR do the trick, sure you'd have to pay for it....
