Possible to change Buttons based on group Night mode?

Hiya,

Is is possible to have different buttons on screen dependent on the Night service mode?

In our setup, we switch on the voicemail at night and switch it off in the morning.

We would like the buttons on the 'phones during the day to show show "Voicemail ON" and "Get Voicemail" buttons. When you hit the "Voicemail ON" button we it puts the hunt group into night mode, and we would like all buttons to vanish to be replaced by a "Voicemail OFF" button.

Is this possible on a SOE (3.2.59)?

Correct, time profiles and user rights, out of hours user rights to be specific.

The only way to do this is with Timed profiles, we can't switch it on and off with a short code?

Why don't you just use hotdesking. During the day log in a user with the buttons you want and at night log out and use the base extension or log another user in. What's the big deal with this. Seems like a no brainer.
 
Hotdesking won't work.

I would have to try to come up with a reason why we should force everyone to login and out instead of one person typing one short code in.

Looks like I'll have to live with it.

Is there anyway of showing the status of the voicemail for a hunt group on a button?

I might just have two profiles with nearly identical buttons just have them swap from morning to afternoon.
