One other question - what is procedure for adding a second drive (which was primary in previous computer and therefore has OS on it) that I simply want to acces for data and files recovery & transfer?
Can simply change jumpers and set bios for it?

Howdy:

Yep.. that's about it.. Just make sure it is set for "slave" and that BIOS is set to "auto-detect"..

Yes you can.
I have done it lots of times. You can even set to witch drive boots first. Like Eg: Floppy , IDE1 , IDE2. Visa versa, just remember what you have set to master and slave.
