I have an Aloha system using posiflex terminals. I had to clone a new hard drive. now i need to change the IP address. any help is welcomed.

If you are

If you are using radiant autoloader just change the name of the PC to the correct term number.
Name change is done this way
1.
Open System in Control Panel.
2.
On the Computer Name tab, click Change.
3.
Under Computer name, type a new name for the computer, and then click OK.

If you are using the ibercfg.bat to launch aloha you need to change the one line that reads set term=# to the correct term #.

To change IP address
Log on to the computer by using the Administrator account.
Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Network and Dial-up Connections. The Network and Dial-up Connections dialog box opens.
Right-click the local area connection that you want, and then click Properties. The Local Area Network Connection Properties dialog box opens.
In the Components checked are used by this connection box, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties. The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box appears.
change the last number of the ip address to something that matches the term number. I like to use 100 for BOH, 110 term1, 120 term3 ect.
