I am working on building a POS system for a client of mine. She wants to stick with "EZTouch" for her software so I'm ultimately not worried about matching a software product to her needs.
What I am concerned with is the hardware that I will be providing her. She already has:
PD 3000 Display Pole
Symbol LS1902c-E000 Scanner
Logic Controls CR3000 Cash Drawer
Epson M129C Thermal Printer
From my research thus far it seems as if these components are fairly standard (except for archaic printer).
All of these were attached to an old Senor Touch-Screen terminal that has recently crapped out. She has one more that is on its way out as well.
So anyhoo, given all of this my plan was to either build her a smaller shuttle box or a thin desktop box to act as the host unit.
After looking around I noticed some really cool terminal units that a few companies are offering. Units such as:
I REALLY like that unit and would love to find an enclosure like it. After looking at their info page I find this:
Key word being "reseller". My first inkling is that they didn't create that case/enclosure and must have picked it up somewhere.
So my ultimate question to you is, where do I get cases/enclosures geared towards housing POS units?
