Hi,

We are developing a POS software for our company and would like to ask what is your recommendation when it comes to hardware? which hardware we should use as a standard hardware? I mean Dell, Toshiba, etc?

can you please share your review..

Thanks
Jassim

You'll have to provide a little more information than that. By "hardware" do you mean the server, user terminals, handhelds, etc...? Micros uses mostly HP for their servers and propietary workstations. I'm not sure about other POS systems.

I am talking about SQL query on Micros 3700 database

I'm not sure what the hardware brand has to do with a SQL query.

sorry wrong typing..

By hardware I mean POS workstations or call it terminal... Server will be a normal PC...

So if we will have our own POS in house developed software then which POS terminal should we go for?

also if we will have a handheld? any hardware and OS recommendation?

So you are creating your own Point of Sale software from the ground up?
