Portable Telephone Signal Booster Search

I have a client that has a house made out of Stone, concrete and steel beams.

They have a Rolm Redwood system and do not want to part with it, but want portable telephones.

I have tried run-of-the-mill portable 2.5GHz telephones (Panasonic) but no luck the signal fades super fast.

Is there a signal booster of sort, or a special portable that has high signal ratio?
 
You might want to take a look at a DECT or WDCT solution. I haven't seen them here in the US really, but it is like a private cellular network in that you can put antennas in multiple locations and the phone will move from cell to cell without dropping a call.

Some of the Siemens models may even support the Rolm. I have seen solutions that were developed by the PBX manufacturer that worked almost exactly like your desk phone (not an analog phone with feature codes).
